Murphy's Law.....!!!!

When Umesh and myself were busy sorting about solutions for the never ending problems of the world we met with JP who had a mighty influence in our life. Some of our thought streams were nurtured by his ideologies. He was our Guru. We used to follow and were great fans and ardent fans of the great thinker and designer JP. And in between most of the other friends thought that only Umesh and myself understood what JP was thinking. Anyways JP showed us a new life.

JP had a set of rules and laws with the help of which he found answer for all the questions we asked him. One of it was the Murphy's Law. Many of the adversities or contradictories happened in our life JP found an answer with the great Murphy. We had never tried to know what had the great Murphy stated in his Law, because we had utmost faith in JP and never questioned him. And most of the contradictories happened in our .. ahemmm.. "one way love lives". The girl whom we had a crush on would turn out to be our friend's girl... and so on. Or when the girls start finding us interesting then it maybe like more than two at a time... and by the time we decide on whom to opt for, they would have found better competitors.

You would be wondering why I am narrating all these things. The Murphy Law showed its "jaadu" again. My friend Umesh stayed as an eligible (I am not sure) bachelor till this Jan 2008. He got married to a lovely girl Teju. He is a good flicker (I believe that should be the right name for a photographer whose photos only get published in flicker) and a famous widely read blogger. He has been doing these thing for many years and the main intention was to get some attention from good girls. He waited in vain. Finally he found his better half with the help of his parents and relatives and is now settled.

I has a chance to visit his Orkut profile today. The latest 30 scraps were from some 8 different girls... all of them beautiful and between the age of 22 and 25, and praising him about his blogs and flicks and some even wanted tips and lessons from him on the art of flickography. I was pretty jealous with the guy and called him up to know his response. He sounded so low. I asked whether is it because meri bhaabi is not with him as she is in Mumbai and he in B'lore. He saad thats not the reason. Then I asked him about the posts in Orkut and about all the girls..
He asked me just one question.. "Where were they all these days??".

I was not able to answer the question specifically.. but still reminded him the root cause of all these adversities and contradictories in his life..... the same old MURPHY....
